As I am a hot blooded lady myself, I have enjoyed reading about your Balaenoptera musculus. Like you, I have also been trying to stop myself from whaling for a long time now, but as both you and my husband say ‘large streams from little fountains flow’.
Much love to you animal man. I’ll be performing in the dog’s bone on Friday night, seeing as you like animals an that, come on down.

Have you watched ‘Andy’s Wild Adventures’? Probably not as it is on CBeebies and aimed at preschoolers! We love it in this house and I think you should get on iplayer and watch a few!

Cheers for clearing that up for me! That Eric Carle has got a lot to answer for – in The Hungry Caterpillar he says it’s a cocoon when it is clearly a chrysalis…

Yes the survival of massive biodiversity in the fynbos is a real concern with global warming and habitat loss and fragmentation, I hope something can be done to solve or at least reduce the problems.

Busy writing a post for Friday. Our fynbos is vulnerable to global warming. Can retreat up the mountain, but that is also a short term solution. The plants and animals will end up in isolated islands.
